Windhorse Village is the culmination of a vision seeded in the Himalayas in 1992, eventually taking root in Colorado 30 years later through the collaboration of friends who are educators, creatives, and contemplatives, under the nonprofit umbrella of the Earthville Institute.
Our community aspires to be:
- An intentional community: living together with shared purpose
- A sustainable community: living in harmony with nature
- A contemplative community: living with mindfulness and reflectiveness
- A compassionate community: living for the benefit of the greater good, endeavoring to reduce our harm footprint and increase our help footprint
